Twenty-two central Indiana GMAU academies participated in the annual Holiday Classic Championships on February 5 (the event had been postponed from December 18). Over 200 were in attendance! The final kumite bouts were conducted in the new elevated Olympic Boxing ring located in GMAU HQ’s Horizon Hall. Hundreds of spectators cheered on their teams.

One parent wrote, “It was quite the spectacle…especially watching the little 6 year old students compete in what had to seem to them to be a world stage!” Gold, Silver, and Bronze medals were awarded in several age categories and areas of competition.
